Awat Serdashti is a Norwegian-Kurdish artist based in Oslo. He works across drawing, painting and sculpture through an intuitive and physical process, in which forms evolve through repetition, shifting and simplification. The unexpected becomes part of the work. Serdashti graduated from Prosjektskolen in Oslo in 2020.

Awat Serdashti offers graffiti and street art workshops for children and young people.

The workshops are based on graffiti, colour, form and visual expression, combining practical exercises with an open and playful approach to making art.

Workshops can be adapted to different ages, group sizes and settings, and have been held at schools, youth clubs, art organisations and cultural events.

Previous workshops include projects at Lakkegata School in Oslo, Kongsberg Kunstforening, Midtgaard Fritidsklubb in Ås and Napern 1916 in Sandefjord.
